March 16, was just another day of coaching the high school track team and taking care of other responsibilities in the busy life of our son-in-law Randy Ricedorff, until his wife picked him up from the school and brought him for a "quiet" dinner at the Native New Yorker restaurant in downtown Show Low.
Surprise, surprise, surprise! He found the place packed with family and friends wanting to help him celebrate his 40th birthday. Here are his two brothers adorning him with special reminders of his advanced age.
He took it all in stride. It was a fun time with pizza and birthday cake and the local Firefighter's bagpipe band, which came in in full Scottish kilt dress and peformed a Happy Birthday rendition in his honor.
